Description
What if The Martian had been made in 1954, using the Von Braun/Colliers Mars Project designs?
I should have modeled the trailer to go behind the Mars tractor, but got put off by the thought of modeling another set of caterpillar treads.
The astronaut is Max Grueter’s excellent Yuri Gagarin sketchup model, cheekily edited by me.

Coulda used a wheeled trailer instead. Somehow the spherical command module just doesn't seem to fit the concept. Maybe a horizontal tubular idea? Still like the idea.
